Newsletter 23rd July, 2026.

From the Principal

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break and are ready for the ‘lightbulb’ term, term 3 is infamous for students making breakthroughs and consolidating their learning. Staff can often be heard excitedly talking about the excellent progress of a student.

Next Monday 27th July we have SSG meetings (parent/teacher interviews) students are not required at school but are encouraged to attend the interview. Xuno booking times are currently open, if you have any problems using the platform contact the school mobile phone in your area or send a note to the teacher with 3 preferred times. SSG meetings provide opportunity for parents and staff to discuss the learning goals, behaviours and any other strengths or challenges.

Wednesday 5th August is a student free day; teachers are heading to Warrnambool to workshops in literacy best practice. ESS staff will be undertaking a wellbeing workshop with Jen Finnerty.

Take care,

Kylie Carter,
Principal.
